Hey guys-
I have to admit I'm confused by this. Here in Virginia, in order to write title insurance policies you have to be licensed with the state. In order to get that license you have to pass a state exam and you also have to be affiliated with a least one title insurance company. Abstractors, as far as I know, do not have to be licensed. I'm curious as to whether there's been some confusion as to whether we're talking about licensing abstractors or insurance agents. Is there some place I can go online to read this Kansdas statute? Inquiring minds need to know - enlighten me, oh great ones!
