Help? Thanks but they do what they want in the state. I told her that I was concerned about fraud and she almost had a heart attack. She said that there was no way that fraud could happen with the way that the state was going to set up the electronic filing. I have seen misindexed deeds, mortgages and judgments with the online land records. I love land records online because of convenience but there is nothing like going to the courthouse and pulling those books. In the counties I cover, I am still fortunate that I have to pull judgment books in order to do an accurate search and not many title companies are willing to drive to my counties to do that.

I wonder how many people will have the deed to their home conveyed to someone else without their knowledge when this is implemented.
