I am not the owner of our company but, I have been involved with a few problems like yours. We have been stiffed by 1 company in NY and two in MD just because they closed one company and opened an other. That we all know is not right. However we had been involved with a company that sold, and because they did not re-open as a new company the own bought all receivables and payables. This make the company responsible no matter who owns it. Well at least the way I understand it.
