Sir,  I do believe you mean "Libel"...not "Slander"


Slander is spoken

Libel is written

very easy to remember. Libel, as in Liber aka Book = Written
and Slander starts with an "s" ~ spoken

Besides, you would have to prove that not only are the things being said false, but that the person(s) writing the false information knew that they were false and wrote them anyway.
