That is interesting David.  Not surprising though.  I read a case in Con Law about a federal judge who was impeached and sentenced to prison time.  He refused to resign and continued to draw his salary for some time.  It wasn't really clear on how long he was able to do that, but I thought it was a little funny (in the odd sense of the word).  It was an older case - I hope that wouldn't be possible today!
