LSD is notorious for late payments.  I've been working for them off and on for a couple of years and they always are 4-6 months behind in payment.  Eventually you do get paid - at least you used to.  (I've been waiting on payments back to March.)  Apparently Rita is the only person who pays the abstractors there. From what I have heard from a few of the people who have worked at LSD, she will allow invoices to sit on her desk indefinitely without paying them.  I have asked how she still has a job - all I can figure is that she is "connected" to someone important in that company.

I don't do much work for them anymore.  They refuse to pay a reasonable fee for services, they call 3-5 times a day "checking status", and they take months to pay.  I wonder myself how they have stayed in business...

Keep hounding them with e-mails, phone calls, etc., and hold their orders until you get payment.  It's the only thing that works.
