It would appear that the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is finished with the "get it done fast, get it done cheap" approach of the title companies, and is taking it all back. Hopefully it will be the beginning of a trend in all states. It would certainly restore some quality control for the benefit of homeowners.

It is also interesting to see the Federal Government waking up to RESPA reform and abuses thereof within the real estate industry. Perhaps all is not lost...yet.
