I would be requesting a letter from the Recorder stating the problem with the computer system with the statement of not knowing when the problem began and that they are working to correct the problem and then request another letter when the problem is corrected...then thank them for the letter that would at least cover yourself incase problems arise in the future during that time period.

     Any other ideas out there?
