I thought I had addressed this above, but maybe not. The expenses contained on the HUD 1 are for the most part charges to the borrower. They constitute a debt. All debtors are entiled to know what they are being charged for. The disclosures required are imposed by statute, common law and rules of ethics. The attorney's fees for the lender are generally charged back to the borrower. Therefore complete disclosure is required.
