Thank you, Sherryl. I'm glad to hear that not everyone has turned into a conspiracy theorist. It doesn't help that we have leadership that calls this a "hoax."
Here is my take on it...
If I'm wrong and it turns out the coronavirus wasn't a real threat (ignoring the fact that it has already killed more than 100,000 people), then I was simply inconvenienced for a while by wearing a mask. That's it.
If the "hoax-believers" are wrong, and it turns out the social distancing and masks are the only thing that has prevented hundreds of thousands of more deaths, and they all refuse to wear masks, people die.
Doesn't that seem like a no-brainer? Err on the side of caution, listen to the scientists who say wearing a mask helps prevent the spread of the virus.
But, that is just my two-cents.
