Our local courthouse security takes temperatures as you enter the building. Masks are required in some offices; others have been more flexible. I appreciate that they are taking steps to help protect the courthouse staff and visitors from the effects of the pandemic. I don't think it can be 100 percent effective - but ever little bit that they do, helps.
I don't mind at all. I think we should all be considerate of our fellow title professionals and county employees. Some of them, or their families, may be in higher risk groups and anything we can do to help lower the risk of further spreading the virus is probably worth any temporary inconvenience. Even wearing masks - as unpleasant as it is sometimes, it may save a life.
