What you've described can be a number of different things, all of it bad news:
- Someone has under-cut your price and is getting all of your orders.
- You are being set-up for a bidding war. They keep you
hungry for a month or two to let the desparation set in and then come
back saying that they need you to lower your price.
- Someone in charge at the company has decided for whatever
reason not to give you any more business. This could be something
as irrational as a personality conflict or just the perception that you
are not doing everything 100% perfectly.
They will never tell you they are unhappy with your work if you are
doing a good enough job because they don't want to burn any bridges,
however they won't outright admit to sending your work somewhere else
unless they are cutting you off for good or want you to lower your
prices.
We now have people doing last owner searches for $10 (maybe lower)
a piece in our county due to price competition. Many searchers
have started increasing their travelling range when most people only
did one or two counties in this area at most for the last several
decades.
