Well, our saga contiunes...
Our flights were delayed from San Diego to Dallas, where we were to catch a connecting flight to Columbus (Ohio). After an hour or so... we finally took off, only to return after 20 minutes due to mechanical problems. Unfortunately, it was too late to get another flight tonight, so we are still in San Diego, after spending most of the day at the airport. We weren't the only ones... we saw several of the NALTEA conference attendees waiting at the airport. I think everyone else did finally get out though; at least I hope so.
American Airlines did put us up at the Holiday Inn Bayside, and it gave us another evening to see a bit of San Diego. We ate at a fantastic restaruant in the Gaslamp Quarter, Geroge's on Fifth. The Gaslamp Quarter was very cool... had it not been for the cancelled flight, I would not have gotten the opportunity to see it.
Anyway... we expect to make it home tomorrow... sometime.
