be careful about passing along the borrower's information, you may have a perception of confidentiality between you and your client. Even though the search information is recorded in the public domain, how you found out they were applying for a loan to refi or purchase a home was not.
Some lenders, especially local ones, will pay for lists of names that you have retrieved from the courthouse of those who have either bought a home or refi-ed in the past couple of years from certain lenders.
We have begun pre-employment screenings as a way to expand our business.
We also have another poker or two in the fire and if they work out we will pass them along.
