Doesn't it say something to you when you have to wait/deal with any company that appears to "normally pay the past dues in order to get off of Hold." ?    I would think you could better use your time to work with firms that are timely in making payments for your work.  Your dealing with firms like these are why we are often reading on SOT about "non-payers".
