Anita... I am the last person to come to George's defense... I sure as heck not doing it this time either. I do agree that Susan had a legitimate complaint and the amount of money owed is beside the point. She did your work in good faith last January and 6 months is a long time to wait to be paid. I just had the same issue with another small company like yours and I did finally get paid after complaining on this forum. Looks like it may have also worked for Susan.

Saying that you paid her before you have been paid does not let you off the hook Anita.  Why would you even take work that you don't personally get paid for and that you make your abstractors wait 6 months to be paid for?
