I would LOVE to talk to your tech guy.  He sounds like exactly what I need.  I have looked into the software that is out there, but nothing fits exactly what I need or even SC real estate law for that matter, so I really think home-grown is the best for us.  I have the literacy available to create the different components I need---forms, invoices, accounting, email, etc, but I don't have the know how to get everything to talk to each other without duplication in each program, so I'm now at the limit of my computer ability.
