If you are successful in obtaining your judgment, it is easily enforceable in other states. If the judgment is obtained after a trial at which the defendant appeared, it is simply a matter of getting verified copy of the judgment from the court that rendered judgment, and filing it with the court of the other state. It then becomes a judgment of that court.

If the judgment was obtained after the defendant was defaulted for failure to appear, it is necessary to initiate a new suit in the other state to satisfy the court that the other state had juriosdiction to render the original judgment.
