Truly shocking.  I am glad that you have some ethical mortgage brokers there to help people get into fixed rate mortgages.  Most of the mortgage brokers up here would be trying to sell whatever they can earn the fattest check on.  Honestly, I have turned away business from some of the mortgage brokers around here.  I won't even close a loan for them.  I have conscience and I have to be able to sleep at night.  Not sure how they do it.
