The only problem with picking these mortgages up and delivering them to the courthouse, is that you now have acccepted the responsibility AND liability if something happens to them. What if you have a car accident and they are destroyed or damaged? What if the client SAYS you picked up something but didn't. Here in New Mexico, we don't assume this sort of liability. No matter how good my client is I am not willing to open myself up to this type of liability.
