I met a guy from the Merriam Agency once.  His name was Tom, I believe, and he spoke at a seminar I attended.  He was a very knowledgeable fellow.  I had sent them an application the following year to get a quote, the quote never arrived.  I tried to follow up with phone calls, but I ran out of time and had to renew my existing policy.

I was impressed with Tom, though.  They met my requirement for knowledgeable.  I'm sure that my application getting misplaced was just a fluke, but for whatever reason, I don't think I tried them again.  Once I found Title Program Administrators, I was happy and didn't feel the need to get additional quotes.
