Hey Loretta,
What a touching story, brought tears to my eyes. I have a son in the US Army now, he was in Desert Storm & I lost it when I heard he was going there, and after that to Iraq area several times. With my heart in my throat, I watched him come & go on all his duty trips. He is my 'baby' out of 3 kids and has made the Army his career. He has been in 17 yrs. and is spending his last 3 in Germany. I am so proud of him! He always tells me don't worry Mom, it's my job. But I thank God everyday for his safe return from whereever he is sent.
I'm thankful for the technology that lets me communicate with him, webcam, so we can still see each other and talk. He has his family in Germany with him, the wife, Michelle and 3 kids, Lilly, Ian and Bailey. We definately need to thank all our Vets and inservice people for the dedication to our county and our freedom. God Bless all!
