I will e-mail you a copy of one that I have that shows just how much these rogue companies will take this - in this case the abstract company reaped almost $1000 for doing the search, all by "marking up" each of the fees- the remarkable part of this is that I have done work (sub-contract) for the real company that actually does the searches- and they rarely get more than $100 for what they do.
