While you say the comments are true, the truth of the comment is merely a defense to a charge of slander. So it is up to the individual making the statement to prove that the statement is true, and not the burden of the person being slandered to prove the comments are false.
Wrong, wrong and wrong. Any tort lawyer worth his Beemer will tell you that truth is an absolute defense to a charge of slander. The burden of proving of a charge of slander is upon the party so charging.
If that's the kind of legal advice you're paying for, I'd find a new attorney.
