I do not believe that we abstractors "bash" companies on SOT. When someone asks if anyone has had any experience with a particular company, we respond accordingly - both positively AND negatively. I have supported a number of VM's that others have expressed displeasure with on SOT. We each have had different experiences.
That being said, I have been working with LSD off and on for over 3 years. For the most part I have found the staff there to be very friendly. However, what others have said is true - it is VERY difficult to get payment from them. (I am currently sitting on invoices totaling $500 which are 30-60 days past due.) And they tend to call for status within an HOUR of sending an order, and continue to call 1-2 times per day to follow up until the order is received back.
So, is LSD a "good company"? Maybe so. Do they have late payment issues? Do they drive abstractors crazy with telephone calls? Definitely. I do not see it as "bashing" to tell others, when asked, about the experience I have had with a company. If LSD is concerned with how they are being perceived by abstractors, then they should look into improving their relationships with said abstractors.
