I have a great suggestion for all of you abstractors that cannot collect your money.  Quit working for the off the wall companies.  That will do away with your problem and also the problem of cutting our fees to the bone.  I only work for attorneys.  I don't have problems collecting my fees and I surely don't cut them for anyone.  I have worked for these one-owner companies and the don't pay you on time, they call you constantly to see if you have their work done, and it is just not worth the hassle.  Have a nice day.
