I believe the attorney would only need to be licensed in the state where the suit is brought.  You would need to decide where to file it, then find an attorney.  It could be filed in the client's home state, or quite possibly any of the states where one of the plaintiff abstractors is domiciled.  It could also be appropriate to file in federal court if the damages are high enough ($75k I believe). 

Just schedule at appointment with an attorney and explain the situation. I'm sure he can recommend the best course of action for you.  You may want to try Legal Match to find an attorney that might be interested in taking the case.
