Just so Deborah doesn't get sent on too many wild goose chases as to exactly where and what to look for- I have done them and seen them and know what the index looked like when it was available in the Fairfax County, which is the one she is closest to.- In Fairfax it was one of those computer print outs , just like the current will indexes- it was just a listing of tax map numbers that were affected in the different liens that were current in the respective Northern Virginia counties- I do not know if it ever survived after the only liens were fixed- and I do not believe that index survived the time-maybe they took it to the archives down in the basement of the court house.
