The folks we used to do work for were in Hauppauge.  It has been 3-4 years so I am a little fuzzy on all the details.  I think we had some trouble getting paid, but nothing dramatic, and that was overshadowed by how unpleasant the people were to deal with.  I am originally from California so maybe it's just me being soft - native New Yorkers might have an easier time of it :-)
