Going into 2021, I would think anyone who has been using the internet since it's boom in the mid-90's, would know that anything on the internet is search able.
Even your membership platforms can be searched without having to be a member (FB. Twitter, etc)
If the Federal Reserve can be hacked, anything can.
Make sure that your computer is as protected as possible. I use 2 - one for personal and one for work only.
As to TitleLock that someone mentioned, being an underwriter, I find it hard to believe that people's "title" is being hacked. I worked in NJ when our country records were THREE YEARS behind in recording. That would have been a good scenario for fraud title.
But now most of our counties are same day recording to a couple of months. We file a Notice of Settlement, that states the property is being sold or mortgage when an app comes in for title insurance.
In order to hack someone's title, there would need to be multiple entities involved, from bankers, to title agents, to notaries. That would be a criminal RING. I don't believe the TitleLock commercial at all. I don't think it's that common. And, it would be a complicated process to fraud a deed. And, any person who is getting eviction notices wouldn't question that from the get go??? Please
Anyway, the eye in the sky has been out there for decades. Forget Social Media - go watch Snowden. That will give you an ephiphany as to how we are spied on as citizens even by our own government.
