No harm, no foul. You've always been a gracious host, and I appreciate what you're trying to do here. In my initial post, I was responding directly to Barry's question about how the subprime mortgage situation will affect the title business.
It simply galls me to no end when elitist politicians tell us that certain issues are way too complex and high-minded for us "great unwashed" to understand. To me, it seemed as if you were talking down to us, and my "sarcastic over-simplification" was in response to that. I don't think it put a damper on the discussion at all. In fact, two people agreed with my take on things. After that, there just wasn't much more to say.
No offense was intended--just my style, I guess.
