I am pretty sure they have always had a direct connection with Wilmington Finance for at least a year.  I learned about it almost a year or so ago when I picked up WF as a client for post closing clean-up work.  It made since since most of the stuff I recorded for EFS was a WF loan (Use be a lot of Chase Manhattan and those dried up about a year ago as well).  I faxed over my invoice to them (WF) and they were looking into me getting paid.  If they don't have some sort of ownership in them then why are they going to pay their bills?
