This is not a good time to be entering the field.The volume of available work is shrinking do to outsourcing and the sub prime mortgage implosion. The VM' s are hell bent on getting you to perform work for them at starvation prices...you will be lucky if you clear minimum wage after expenses. The price of gasoline is a huge question as to whether you can turn a profit at the end of each month.

On line courses may provide an introduction to the occupation, but there is no substitute for hands on experience. If you are truly interested in entering the field seek employment with a law firm. You will receive both a routine pay check and proper training.
