That remains to be seen. Europe has been a political whore house for 2,000 years. Other than the comic opera third world countries that have sent token forces, we have recently seen just how "anxious" they were to support us as NATO allies in Iraq. 

The only true friend among them that I can see was Tony Blair of Great Britain. He is soon to be out of office , if not already. Is Sarkozy going to step into his shoes?. Even if he did ...he is only one voice against many in the European Union.
