Thank you, David. It means a great deal to me that you respect me and my opinions so much. I merely posted my observances because I don't want people to lump everyone into one category simply because a particular flag flies over their city hall. 

But, I am glad you work so hard to remind people of what an amazing country we have and what benefits and freedoms we are afforded merely by waking up here and having the luxury of being born an American.

Jessica, I'm very happy to hear that you've had similar experiences to that which I described in my previous post. I love America and I love our history and traditions. I just don't like when we assume other countries will adopt them because they are the cultural influences that shape our view of the world.
