I noticed that it was another company, not another abstractor. It could have been just a forwarded order. I normally receive several of these in the course of the day. Of the thousands of orders from hundreds of clients I process in any given year, this was the first time that any company has sent me an order intended for someone else.
I'm not going to second guess the intent of my clients, delay their searches and take up their valuable time because of an error made by one company on one order in the past 17 years.
