I was the one who posted about the wassail, and after reading this recipe of yours, I want to make it for Christmas Eve. It sounds delicious. But one thing: what and how exactly do you make an 'ice ring'? Forgive my ignorance, I've just started to really test my culinary skills the past year, and am still learning.
Also, does anyone have an easy prep suggestion for a good holiday snack/appetizer?
