We do send it to clients who request it. I can understand that they want to make sure that their abstractors have E&O... and I am glad that do insist on it. Other businesses often get requests for their liability coverage before they get hired for a job. I have a good friend in the landscape and snow removal business. His commercial clients have very specific insurance requirements and I know that he gets asked to send them proof that he carries the appropriate coverage.
