Just think of the impact if all of us employed that same set of rules- no work performed for non-US companies? But then, how much work is being done by "us" for non US companies presently? I know I don't do work for any at all- never have either-, and never have been asked to do any work by any non-US company. That would leave only those "big" title companies that are selling themselves down the Indian drain that are promoting the non-US companies to do their work. They don't even use US abstractors if they are connected to the outsourcing connections- I wonder just how much is actually being exported to the outsourcing route and how much is being done by them all together. Does the total title work being done now by us add up to all that much and have we lost that much to short searching and outsourcing? Just a few questions I have that make me wonder about the future of this business. I believe it will come back- maybe not as vigorous at it was 3-4 years ago- but will we still be here to be able to say we knew it would occur.
