If you are a "new" investor/purchaser of Bertrum Settlements, you may have bought a dog... with fleas.  Bertrum Settlements is currently wholly owned by Bertrum Group, your email address is rrobinson@bertrumgroup.com, you may run into trouble finding abstractors when there are posts in the forums titled: Bertrum Group does not pay. It sounds like you should be talking to your parent company about paying their abstractors.  I don't think you want to take over a company with that reputation.

I am surprised you don't see that as a problem.  There have been a lot of companies that claim to have separated from another company that wasn't paying their abstractors and they have had problems as well.... you certainly can't blame people for being a bit skeptical.
