Thank you for your response - you brought up a good point to have the customer call the county. However, this is where I found out about "the book under the counter" deal in the one county I service. I had no idea it existed before the client called and asked me to look in it because who ever they talked to said they would not give out that information over the phone. This automatically caused problems because:
A) the client expected me to know this book existed (which I didn't),
B) only one person in this specific county deals with the assessments and if they aren't there you don't get an answer, and
C) the information in this book is by no means written in stone and they advised me to not even give the client this information because it could cause problems and misinformation being given out by the county itself
*Sigh*
Why can't a simple it might or might not happen be ok?? LOL!
