Dear SOT,
Good news to CT abstractors - as of Monday there will be one less competitor out there. After long and careful consideration I have decided to quit the abstracting business and go back to 40-hr work weeks, sitting behind a desk, slaving for someone else. I'll certainly miss the freedom of self-employment, but not the chasing of slow-pay and deadbeat clients. They're all yours now, guys. Best of Luck to you.
Seriously though, I would like to whole-heartedly thank Robert, Jarrod and everyone at SOT. Much of the business I have gotten over the past few years has been a direct result of listing my business here on SOT. I appreciate all you've done for the industry. Thanks also to all of the contributors to the SOT forums. It has been a pleasure following your postings over the years, and I will check back from time to time to see how you are all making out.
This has been a VERY difficult decision to make. An opportunity came my way that I felt I needed to explore, so here I go. I wish you ALL the very best. Continue to value yourselves and the work that you do. Take care.
Signing off...
