Rob, I feel bad for you being taken by so many companies.  I am a notary, I witness loan closings. I've been taken, once, and that was by EFS. I try really hard to check out companies before even accepting an assignment through different websites, mostly through notaryrotary.com, they have a signing central key that you can click on, pull up a companies reputation (at least how it is to a notary).  I think you might need to 'join' but I think it will save you alot of grief in the long run.
