It would be a big benefit if all of us insisted on having our fees listed on the HUD-1 also- it is just one more place that we can protect our fees- and have a documented place of exactly what was charged for our services, whether they actually paid the same amount or not- which by it self is more proof of the "adding to fees" that occurs from some sources also-all of which is a kickback violation. There might come a day when you are asked to prove you were only paid X and the HUD-said something different. as in the case if you ever have a claim against your company- if they take more money that you are paid- they are required to have liability insurance for that same percentage of the total fee, which means they bear part of the claim too.
