No. In my opinion a search for a purchase should reflect the marketable title standards for the state. In Ohio, that would be a minimum of 40 years. Remember, the sales contract requires the seller to deliver marketable title to the buyer. Regardless of what is required to insure the title, a search that eveidences marketable title should be required. But... that is just my opinoin.
