I always search every way possible to make sure I am getting correct info. I always report the error to the clerks office of the county that the error is in.

In the eastern shore counties, the errors have been many.  I do not rely on md land rec's online site to do a search. I always use the Maryland courthouse computer system, which is different than the md rec online system. I have gound everything from names misspelled to book and page numbers wrong compared to the other computer system.  I always pull the books and search the judgments the old way.

We have noticed a trend in the courthouse, no abstractors. There are quite a few people that are becoming a little too comfortable with the way they think they can search online and give an accurate report. It's just not good enough. I see the new trend as people trying to make a quick buck and not convenience and accuracy.
