Suffolk is no longer on line because they had 2 major flaps with politicians finding their documents on line with their ss#'s on them.
It was in the NY Times.
Then Westchester county realized that they had federal tax liens on their website with ss #'s, so they took them all off their site and reimaged them with the ss #'s blacked out.
Unfortunately many homeowner's don't have a clue that their ss #'s shouldn't be on documents that are public record, or are unaware that the documents are public record.
