Sadly, it isn't just gas prices that are up.  We are paying more for everything - perhaps due to the fuel prices, everyone else is charging more.  Our accountants raised their rates due to gas prices! 

Unfortunately, we have not been able to increase our fees.  We are already the most expensive in our service area, and we aren't charging a lot.  Unless our competitors raise their prices, it is not going to be possible for us to do so.  Some of them are very good abstractors - they are really undervaluing their services.  But, many of them work out of their homes and they have spouses that provide health insurance, so they don't "need" to charge what we do.

Thus, we aren't even attempting to increase our fees at this time.
