Thanks for all the input.  These are all very good ideas.  I like the idea of giving the discount for prompt payment.  That's an incentive to give a discount.  It is hard to give a volume discount in rural southwest Virginia.  It's not easy to even get a second order in the same courthouse on the same day from the same company.
