It probably is a bit slower at this point.  I haven't done a whole lot of optimization on the pages yet, so there's quite a bit of unnecessary overhead on a lot of the pages.  I'll be able to make some improvements there probably within the next few days.

Overall, the pages on the new site are slightly bigger in terms of kilobytes per page, and require more calls to the database on our servers, which might make things incrementally slower than before. 

I think we'll get where we need to be with it and it will be zippy enough in due time.
